What we publish is deliberately limited. A free listing on AZ928 shows the business name, the trade category it belongs to, and the town it operates in.
If someone with authority at the business reviews the listing and signs off on it — giving their name and title, confirming they are authorized to approve it for the business, and typing their signature — the listing may also show the phone number and website they approved and, for a public storefront or office, its street address. We keep a record of each sign-off. Nothing extra appears on a listing until that sign-off exists.
We never publish an email address or a license number, and we never publish the street address of a business that operates from a home.
Your free listing is free permanently. We do not charge for it, we do not remove it, and we will not begin charging for it later. If you would prefer not to be listed at all, email paul@az928.com and we will remove the listing, or any single detail on it, the same business day, no questions asked and no explanation required.
Where public records include additional business contact details, we may retain them internally so that we can reach a business owner about their listing or about our services. This information is not displayed on AZ928.com and is not sold, rented, licensed, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
When you use a form on this site, we collect what you type: typically your name, business name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. We use it to respond to you, to correct or update your listing, and to provide services you ask about. That is all.
When a business signs off on its listing through our sign-off page, we also record the signer's name, title, phone and email, the details they approved, the date, and their typed signature. We keep that record for as long as the listing shows those details, and afterwards as a record of what was approved.
If you contact us, we may reply by email or, where you have given us a number and asked us to, by phone or text. Mobile phone numbers and any consent to receive text messages are not shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It uses cookies to do that; it does not tell us who you are.
We use a small number of third-party services to operate this site: Hostinger (web hosting), Formspree (delivers the messages and sign-offs you send through our forms to our inbox), Google Analytics (counts visits), Stripe (payments, if you buy advertising), and ElevenLabs and Twilio (Sage, our AI receptionist, who answers calls to 928-800-8724). These providers process information only to perform that function for us. We do not authorize them to use it for their own marketing.
