• Business listings come from Arizona public records. We publish only a business name, its trade category, and its city.
• We do not publish phone numbers, street addresses, email addresses, or license numbers on this site.
• If you contact us through a form, we use that information to reply to you and nothing else.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
• Ask us to remove your listing and we will, the same day, without asking why.

Where our business listings come from

AZ928 is a directory of businesses operating in Yavapai County, Arizona. Listing information is compiled from records that Arizona makes publicly available, including:

• The Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) public licensing list
• The Prescott Chamber of Commerce public member directory
• The Arizona Department of Real Estate public license database

What we publish is deliberately limited. A free listing on AZ928 shows only the business name, the trade category it belongs to, and the city it operates in. We do not publish a phone number, a street address, an email address, a website link, or a license number as part of a free listing.

Information we hold but do not publish

Where public records include additional business contact details, we may retain them internally so that we can reach a business owner about their listing or about our services. This information is not displayed on AZ928.com and is not sold, rented, licensed, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Information you give us directly

When you use a form on this site, we collect what you type: typically your name, business name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. We use it to respond to you, to correct or update your listing, and to provide services you ask about. That is all.

Email and text messages

If you contact us, we may reply by email or, where you have given us a number and asked us to, by phone or text. Mobile phone numbers and any consent to receive text messages are not shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include IP address, browser type, and pages visited. If we add analytics in future, this policy will be updated to say so before it is used.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party services to operate this site — currently a web host, a form-handling service that delivers your message to our inbox, and, where you purchase advertising, a payment processor. These providers process information only to perform that function for us. We do not authorize them to use it for their own marketing.

Your choices

• Removal. Ask and your listing comes down the same business day.
• Correction. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
• Access and deletion. Ask what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.
• Stop contact. Ask us not to contact you again and we will honor it.

AZ928 is a directory of businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
